Please Don't - Please Don't (V53)
This release documents two brief and brutal live performances by this Nottingham based noise collective, plus a collage of practice recordings to close.
These performances capture a project in continual, frenzied opposition to itself. Sheets of tumultuous noise and feedback are lobbied back and forth with abandon, each new assault veers wildly around the stereo spectrum, seeking a spot where it can engulf and overwhelm the previous caustic wave.
This chaotic, kinetic charge manifests as a voluminous and restless barrage that belies its brevity. Please Don’t are harsh noise speedrunners, charging recklessly in every direction and lobbing sonic petrol bombs from start to finish.
