STEALTH IDENTITY - IMPERATIVE VIRTUE (V52)

Spanish duo STEALTH IDENTITY presents two side long tracks of baleful, dark ambient dread. Washes of hissing static and dank, hollowed out drones permeate throughout, only broken up by intervals of creaking, rickety and dislocated rhythmic ticks.

Side A is isolating and mournful, balancing both the suffocating and the expansive within it's palette. Side B introduces more abstract and caustic elements, like it's testing the capacity of the conceptual possibilities, creeping and mutating into subtly sinister new shapes.

'IMPERATIVE VIRTUE' is a work of disquieting restraint, it carries its warped and malefic creations with an somber, imposing dignity. These tracks progress at such a glacial, stately pace that an almost rigid equipoise is reached, a perfectly abstract and inscrutable equilibrium.
